The Houses
The 5 acre Monticello Estate features two completely independent and private houses:
Desert Rose - a two bedroom beach house perched directly over one
of the most beautiful and private beaches on the island, and the Garden of Light
house a 3-bedroom house, set further back from the water in a tropical garden, and
yet just a few hundred foot walk down a private path to the very same beautiful
beach.
The houses are for rent together or seperately and between the two could accomodate
upto 8 or 9 people. Please continue reading below for a more detailed description
of what each house has to offer.
Desert Rose
Desert Rose house is situated directly on the beach, with beautiful views available
from both the house and the deck.
The house features wired internet, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave,
refrigerator, dishwashing machine, and all the usual pots, pans and utensils you
will need to enjoy your stay. The house also has a separate laundry room with washing
machine and dryer for your use.
The living room area has seating for 5 people with a sofa and two comfortable armchairs
as well as a full entertainment center with Satellite TV, DVD Player and Stereo.
There is a large selection of movies and music available for your use.
The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an additional bedroom with a pull-out
sofa bed. All rooms have separate ceiling fans and air-conditioners.
Outside there is a barbecue grill, an umbrella on the deck and best of all a fantastic,
unobstructed view of the ocean. There is huge cabana on the back of the house to
enjoy dining outside for upto 10 people and an additional cabana overlooking the
ocean, and a third elevated deck for enjoying the refreshing evening breeze.
Desert Rose rents for $1300/wk (+$180/extra night) for August thru mid-November,
and $1450/wk (+$210/extra night) for mid-November
thru July.
A deposit of 50% of the rental rate is due within 10 days of booking, with the balance
and $400 refundable damage deposit due 30 days prior the arrival date. Special year
round reduced rental rates and returning guest discounts, please enquire.
The Garden of Light
The Garden of Light is a 3 bedroom house, consisting of two independent apartments
under the same roof, with a seperate outside entrance for each. Between the two
apartments, this house can accomodate upto 6 people with 2 master bedrooms, and
1 smaller room with two single beds.
The apartment on the top floor is equipped with a full kitchen (stove with oven,
dishwasher, microwave, big refrigerator), dining room, entertainment center (TV,
DVD with movies, Stereo with CD, books, wireless internet), air conditioning and ceiling
fan, master bedroom with queen bed, deck on the front of the house with outside
table, deck on the back with table and umbrella, bathroom with shower, external
shower. The upstairs apartment has accomodations for just two people.
The apartment on the first floor is equipped with smaller kitchen with big refrigerator
as well, TV, DVD with movies, portable radio with CDs, a master bedroom with king
bed with air conditioning, and an additional bedroom with two smaller beds (one
functions as a full sofa bed) also with air conditioning and a full bathroom with
shower. The first floor also has a bottom deck with outside table and umbrella.
The downstairs apartment can accomodate upto 4 people.
Both apartments have wireless internet and share a laundry room which is available
via a seperate entrance with washing machine and dryer as well as a variety of beach
amenities.
Garden of Light rents for $1700/wk ($245 extra night) for August thru mid November,
and $1,900/wk ($275 extra night) for mid November thru July.
